Michaela Davellis (she/they) is a clinical social work candidate working towards licensure as a LCSW. Throughout childhood, they questioned the inequity around them and became inspired to level the playing field for all people. After growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, they moved to the city to attend Northeastern Illinois University where they earned their Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Social Justice. They then earned their Master of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with an emphasis on crisis intervention.
While in Chicago, they worked with the LGBTQ+ and unhoused communities, serving folks across the lifespan in various settings. During graduate school, Michaela worked with adults within the Colorado Crisis Services network and quickly realized they missed the energy and excitement that comes with a younger clientele. Since moving to Denver, they have worked primarily with children and adolescents in both the school and outpatient settings.
Michaela believes the role of the therapist is to guide clients in identifying their own perspective and separating it from the noise of the outside world in order to live a life consistent with their values and goals. Michaela recognizes the significance of the therapeutic relationship by creating space for self-reflection that is casual yet impactful. They believe in the power of comedic relief and seek to add levity when appropriate. Using a Humanistic and Strengths-Based perspective, they strive to support clients to recognize and activate their unique traits and skills.
Outside of the office, Michaela loves spending time out in the sunshine. Growing up near Lake Michigan, they developed an affinity for water-based sports including kayaking, paddle-boarding, rafting, and swimming. Music has been a critical part of their healing journey and as such, they love watching live performances. Some of their favorite artists include Lizzo, GRiZ, Noname, Anderson Paak, Smino, Vulfpeck, and Lettuce. When at home, they enjoy baking and hanging out with their two cats, Henry and Oliver.

Jesse Sperry obtained his Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver and completed post-graduate training in marriage and family therapy at the Denver Family Institute. He is currently a Clinical Social Work Candidate in the State of Colorado.
Jesse believes relationships are at the very core of our human experience. Interactions with other people shape our personality, how we express our emotions, and impact the overall quality of our lives. People are capable of overcoming their own problems, engaging in self-healing, and mobilizing their own naturally occurring resources and relationships when they have the right tools and support. If self-healing is the “engine” that makes therapy work, then my role is that of a mechanic to perform a tune-up by providing a safe working space & potential for new learning opportunities.
In his work with young adults and families, Jesse practices with a focus on systemic and strength-based modalities emphasizing client’s strengths, resources, and maintaining a sense of hope & possibility. He strives to collaborate with clients on achievable goals, creatively brainstorm viable strategies, and help people to take small concrete steps forward achieving a brighter future.
When he is not working, Jesse likes to ride his motorcycle, snowboard, and spend time with his family.
